Shelly Kraicer is the Beijing-based editor of the Chinese Cinema Digest and consultant on mainland Chinese film for the Udine Far East Film Festival. He holds a special interest in emerging independent directors. Kraicer contributes to the Guardian International and has been published in Positions, Senses of Cinema, the Variety International Film Guide, and Cinema Scope.
