BIFF tries to accommodate all patrons and schedules the films around cinemas to ensure greater accessibility.
Greater Union Hoyts Regent Cinemas
Wheelchair access is available to Cinema 1 where the majority of BIFF sessions are held. Cinema 3 is up the Grand Staircase of the Regent Theatre and there is no access for mobility-impaired patrons due to the heritage listing of the building.
Where possible BIFF schedules films that are in Cinema 3 to be repeated in Cinemas 1 to ensure access for all patrons. Check the cinema code of the film you are interested in, or telephone (07) 3007 3007 for more information.
Please ring ahead if possible to notify staff to be on hand at the wheelchair lift in the Regent foyer.
Southbank Cinemas
Wheelchair access is available to all 5 cinemas in the Southbank complex.
The Suncorp Piazza offers full wheelchair access.

Located in the Queen Street Mall, Greater Union Hoyts Regent Cinemas are very close to Central Station, the Myer Centre Bus Station and most other bus lines.
Taxi ranks closest to the Regent are found on the corner of Albert and Elizabeth Streets and at the end of the Queen Street Mall on the corner of Queen and Edward Streets.
Southbank Cinemas and the Suncorp Piazza are just a short walk from both South Bank and South Brisbane train stations and busway stops, and the South Bank City Cat ferry terminal.
A taxi rank is located at the nearby Convention and Exhibition Centre.
