The 2004 Festival will be fully housed in the Greater Union Hoyts Regent Cinemas in the Queen St Mall.
Access
BIFF tries to accommodate all patrons and schedules
the films around cinemas to ensure greater accessibility.
There is wheelchair access to Cinemas 1 and 2 where
the majority of BIFF sessions are held. Cinemas 3 and
4 are up the Grand Staircase of the Regent Theatre and
there is no access for mobility impaired patrons due
to the heritage listing of the building. Where possible
BIFF schedules films that are in Cinemas 3 or 4 to be
repeated in Cinemas 1 or 2 to ensure access for all
patrons. Check the cinema code of the film you are interested
in or telephone 3007 3007 for more information.
Ring ahead if possible to notify staff to be on hand at the wheelchair lift in the Foyer at the Regent.
