Access to theatres
BIFF tries to accommodate all patrons and schedules the films
around venues to ensure greater accessibility. There is wheelchair
access to Cinema 1 and 2. The majority of BIFF sessions are
held in Cinema 1 where there is access for wheelchairs. Cinema
3 and 4 are up the Grand Staircase of the Regent Theatre and
there is no wheelchair access due to the heritage listing
of the building. Where possible BIFF schedules films that
are in Cinema 3 or 4 to be repeated in Cinema 1 or at the
State Library of Queensland to ensure access for all patrons.

Ring ahead if possible to notify staff to be on hand at the
wheelchair lift in the Foyer at the Regent.
